Mark Urbanski has devoted his practice to
immigration and nationality law since 1996. He has
represented numerous clients in business immigration matters, including technology companies, manufacturers, major academic institutions, hospitals, accounting firms and others. He also represents individuals in the sponsorship of family members, fiances, and relatives and in deportation and asylum matters.
Urbanski has served as Adjunct Professor of Science and Technology Policy at the Rochester Institute of Technology and has taught International Law and Policy at the University of Rochester's Public Policy Analysis Program. He currently teaches Business Law at the University of Northern Virginia.

Adriana Bastos - Legal Assistant
Adriana Bastos joined the Law Offices of Mark A. Urbanski in September 2007. She earned a Bachelor’s in Law from the Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas in São Paulo, and holds an LL.M. degree from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. She is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association and has more than four yeas of professional experience in Civil Law, Criminal Law, International Law and Immigration. Prior to joining the Law Office of Mark A. Urbanski, Ms. Bastos worked for Brazilian government agencies, U.S. non-profit organizations, and a private law firm in Latin America. She was a mediator at the Special Civil Court in São Paulo, Brazil, and worked as counsel for development projects in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Ms. Bastos is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
